Hot Fox Pottery, a small family-run studio in Brighton, has its roots in the home of Alice and Tom Fox, who have created a warm and welcoming loft studio for their students. The studio offers a range of courses, including the upcoming 6-week hand-building course, which starts on Monday, 2 November 2026, and runs until Saturday, 12 December 2026.

The 6-week course is designed to teach students the core techniques of coiling, pinch pots, and soft and hard slabs, as well as various decoration techniques, including sgraffito, underglaze, and carving. With a maximum of seven students per class, students receive plenty of individual attention from experienced tutors Alice and Tom. The course is suitable for total beginners and more experienced potters, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to explore their creative side.

The optional throwing session on the pottery wheel, available for an additional £40, allows students to further develop their skills.
