Brighton Von Hertzen Brothers

Finnish progressive rock is a unique sound that blends classic rock and progressive elements with folk, punk, and contemporary rock. Von Hertzen Brothers, formed in 2000 by three brothers, Kie, Mikko, and Jonne von Hertzen, are at the forefront of this genre. Their music career spans over two decades, with a discography that includes notable albums such as Experience, Approach, and Stars Aligned.

The band's history is rooted in their family's musical background, with their father Hasse playing in the 1960s band The Savages, and their uncle Lasse being a member of the 1970s folk band Cumulus. This influence can be seen in their eclectic sound, which has been praised by critics and fans alike. With a string of successful albums and singles, including the award-winning Flowers and Rust, Von Hertzen Brothers have built a loyal following and have supported acts like Foo Fighters and Neil Young.

On Sunday, 1 November 2026, Von Hertzen Brothers will bring their acoustic-style 'Acoustic Enough' performance to the Komedia Brighton in Brighton. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This unique live experience will feature the three brothers playing several instruments, with rearranged songs and immersive storytelling, showcasing their 25-year catalogue, including fan favourites, deep cuts, and rarely performed material.
