Brighton's Story Magic for Babies

In a bold move to introduce the youngest members of our community to the enchanting world of storytelling, Komedia Brighton is hosting Story Magic – Baby Sessions, a series of interactive classes tailored specifically for babies under 18 months. From Friday, 6 November 2026, to Sunday, 20 December 2026, parents and caregivers can join performers Tashi and Jack from the acclaimed children's theatre company Fideri Fidera for an entertaining and engaging experience.

Each 35-minute session is carefully crafted to explore a different story, incorporating original songs, classic nursery rhymes, sensory props, and puppets to help build connection and support development. The use of sensory props and puppets adds a tactile element to the experience, allowing babies to engage with the story on a deeper level. By incorporating music and storytelling, these sessions aim to create a nurturing environment that fosters a love for stories and learning.

The sessions are designed to be flexible and accommodating, with the room remaining open until 1:30 pm after each class. This allows parents and caregivers to stay and feed, change, and chat with others, creating a sense of community and support. The relaxed atmosphere of the sessions encourages social interaction and helps to break down the isolation that can often come with caring for a young baby.

Performers Tashi and Jack, from Fideri Fidera, bring their expertise and passion for children's theatre to these sessions, ensuring a high-quality and engaging experience for all participants. With their award-winning background, they are well-equipped to create a captivating and interactive experience that will leave a lasting impression on both babies and their caregivers.

The Story Magic – Baby Sessions will take place at Komedia Brighton in Brighton, starting on Friday, 6 November 2026.
