Toddler Time Special Screenings
A unique cinema experience designed for preschool children and their parents or carers, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for young ones to engage with film. This special event is tailored to meet the needs of toddlers and their accompanying adults.
The Duke of York's Picturehouse in Brighton has a long history of hosting various film events, and its upcoming Toddler Time screenings are no exception, originating from a desire to create a welcoming space for young children and their parents or carers.
These special screenings are carefully designed to provide a comfortable and engaging experience for preschool children, with the understanding that their needs and attention spans differ from those of older children and adults. By doing so, the cinema aims to foster a love for film in young minds and provide a unique opportunity for parents or carers to spend quality time with their toddlers in a relaxed environment.
The Toddler Time event will run from Friday, 30 October 2026, to Monday, 28 December 2026, at the Duke of York's Picturehouse in Brighton. Tickets for children start at £3, while accompanying adults can attend for free, although it's worth noting that no adult will be admitted without a toddler.
