Brighton Big Screen Karaoke

The concept of Big Screen Karaoke originated from the Picturehouse cinema group, which describes the event as a transformation of their cinema into a karaoke venue. This innovative idea allows guests to choose a song and sing along to lyrics projected on the big screen, with their voices sounding through the cinema's sound system. The event is hosted by a charismatic compère called B*tchtrice, who keeps the energy high throughout the night.

At the Duke of York's Picturehouse in Brighton, Big Screen Karaoke will run from Sunday, 1 November 2026, to Sunday, 29 November 2026. During this time, the cinema will be filled with the sounds of singing and laughter as participants belt out their favourite tunes. The song selection is diverse, ranging from Mamma Mia! tributes to Oscar-winning ballads like My Heart Will Go On, Shallow, and Let It Go. The bar will be open throughout the night, and every ticket includes a free drink, making it a great opportunity to socialise and have fun with friends.

B*tchtrice, the host of Big Screen Karaoke, brings a unique energy to the event, keeping the crowd entertained and engaged throughout the night. With their expertise in hosting karaoke events, B*tchtrice ensures that everyone has a great time, regardless of their singing abilities. The event is recommended for those aged 18 and over, making it a great night out for adults looking to let loose and have fun.
