Soulful Energy at The Ivy

Soulful, laid-back grooves are on the horizon, courtesy of Conscious Club, a talented band from Devon and the wider South West. Formed in 2016, this versatile group has built a reputation for delivering high-energy performances that keep the dancefloor full. With their current line-up featuring Clare on vocals, Ollie on guitar, Chris on bass and musical direction, Josh on drums, and Ozzie on keys, they're a force to be reckoned with in the live music scene.

Conscious Club's story is one of passion and dedication to their craft. As a wedding and events band, they've had the opportunity to play at numerous venues across the UK and beyond, earning them a trusted supplier status among top wedding venues in Devon and Cornwall. Their hard work has paid off, with the band being named Regional Band of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards in both 2025 and 2026. With a repertoire that leans on classic tracks and crowd-pleasers, they're able to read the room and adjust their setlist accordingly, ensuring that the audience is always entertained.

The band's individual members bring a wealth of experience and talent to the table. Frontwoman Clare is a skilled songwriter whose music has been featured on BBC Radio, Netflix, and national television, while guitarist Ollie has played internationally with Joss Stone and shared line-ups with IDLES and Tom Meighan of Kasabian. Bass player and musical director Chris has shared stages with Catfish and the Bottlemen, Go West, and The Feeling, and drummer Josh is also a drum teacher across the South West. Keyboard player Ozzie's jazz background and experience recording a live session for BBC Radio 6 Music add another layer of depth to the band's sound.

Conscious Club will be performing at The Ivy In The Lanes in Brighton on Wednesday evenings, starting from 4 November 2026. Their live music nights will run until 30 December 2026, providing the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends over cocktails or enjoy a relaxed dinner while being treated to their soulful energy and laid-back grooves.
