Lewes Con Club hosts Slade UK

Glam rock fans are in for a treat with the upcoming Christmas Special by Slade UK, a tribute act that has been wowing audiences across the UK and Europe since 2011.

• Slade UK's show is a traditional tribute, with the band dressing in early 1970s Slade style, complete with vocalist Nidge Hillam's large sideburns, tartan, and mirrored top hat. • The setlist draws on nearly three hours of material, covering the 1970s hits, B-sides, and songs the original group never played live, up to the 1991 single Radio Wall of Sound. • With past collaborations with notable artists such as Roy Wood, Queensrÿche, and John Rossall's Glitter Band, Slade UK has established itself as one of the top tribute acts in the country.

Slade UK will perform at the Lewes Con Club, Lewes, on Friday, 11 December 2026, with doors opening at 7:00pm and the show starting at 8:00pm. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With their high-energy performance and authentic tribute to the original band, Slade UK's Christmas Special is sure to be a memorable event for glam rock fans.
