As visitors enter the Paddock Art Studios in Lewes, they will be immersed in a mixed-media group show that celebrates the complexities of materials, space, environment, and process. The exhibition, Cut-Up, features the work of Karen Francesca, a renowned artist with over two decades of experience in creating public art and gardens that foster biodiverse, healthy spaces. Her large-scale artworks not only make powerful social and environmental commentary but also encourage direct engagement with natural materials, deepening the connection between people and place.

Karen Francesca's practice is rooted in care and collaboration, informed by her work as an Art Psychotherapist. Her background in Fine Art, specialising in installation, and her later qualification as an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist in 2013, have equipped her with a unique understanding of the importance of creative expression and community participation. Her projects, such as the Weir Road Community Art Gardens in South London and the Dolphin Lane Heritage Public Art project in Boston, Lincolnshire, demonstrate her commitment to regenerating public and private spaces through art and gardening.

The exhibition Cut-Up, which runs from Monday, 2 November 2026 to Monday, 30 November 2026, at 23:00, at Paddock Art Studios in Lewes, is a testament to Karen Francesca's dedication to her craft.
