Bullitz 23 Brings Melodic Punk

Melodic punk rock is a genre that never fails to get the adrenaline pumping, and Bullitz 23 is one of the most exciting new bands to emerge in this scene. With their roots in the late 1970s British punk movement, they bring a unique energy to their music that is both authentic and infectious. The band's singer, Andy Ray Keys, has a rich history in the punk scene, having previously been part of Scottish ska-punk band Ex-Cathedra and punk outfit Suicide Bid.

Bullitz 23's sound is characterised by fast-paced, melodic punk rock with rough, rasping Scottish vocals, drawing inspiration from iconic bands like S.L.F, Skids, and Cock Sparrer, with a touch of Sham. Their debut release, 'Ballad of Jim Bones', was a limited edition green 7-inch vinyl that gained significant attention, including being named Single of the Week by Louder Than War. This was followed by a three-track limited edition red 7-inch vinyl, 'BURN', which featured a bonus track with Gizz Butt of English Dogs and The Prodigy on the CD version.

The band's music is not just about fast-paced punk rock; it's also about catchy, piratey folk punk numbers, as seen in their debut single 'Ballad of Jim Bones'. With their eclectic mix of influences and energetic live performances, Bullitz 23 is a band that is sure to get you moving. They have already gained a significant following, having played at notable festivals like Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool and Pøbelrock festival in Norway, and have even been announced as support for Hard Skin's final tour show.
