Creative Fun for Families

The De La Warr Pavilion's family-friendly programme originated from a desire to provide children and their families with a platform to enjoy the arts and have fun trying new creative experiences.

• Art Sundays are free drop-in workshops that take place in the studio, facilitated by local artists, and explore ideas and themes from the current exhibitions. • The pavilion has also developed online resources, including creative sessions produced with artist Janey Moffat, which use items found at home to encourage creativity. • Follow Your Nose, a webapp created by artist Sam Ayre, is an interactive tool that can be used in the galleries to prompt visitors to trust their own feelings and instincts when responding to the exhibitions.

The De La Warr Pavilion's family-friendly events and workshops will run from Sunday, 8 November 2026, to Sunday, 3 January 2027, at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea. Tickets or details for these events can be found with the button beside this article.
