Halloween Shadow Puppets For Kids

On Friday, 30 October 2026, the Brighton Dome in Brighton will host a Crafty Kids workshop, where children and their grown-ups can come together to create mysterious and magical silhouettes using shadow puppetry. The session is inspired by favourite stories and allows participants to re-tell beloved tales or create their own new ones. This collaborative approach is designed to suit children aged 3-10, who will work together with their parent or carer to bring their imagination to life.

The workshop provides a relaxed and welcoming environment, where all materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. The organisers have also taken care of the mess, tidying up after the session, so participants can focus on having fun. The aim is to encourage children to continue the fun at home, sharing their spooky stories with family and friends. By providing a supportive and creative space, the workshop enables children to develop their storytelling skills and explore their imagination.

The use of shadow puppetry as a medium for storytelling offers a unique and engaging way for children to express themselves. By manipulating silhouettes to create their own stories, children can develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. The workshop also provides an opportunity for children to bond with their grown-ups, working together to create something new and exciting.

The Crafty Kids workshop is an excellent way for families to spend quality time together, exploring their creativity and imagination. With its focus on collaboration and storytelling, the session is an ideal activity for children aged 3-10. For more information and to book tickets, please click the button beside this article.
