Explore Within A Landscape

The Kino-Teatr Open Exhibition originated from an open submission process, where artists were invited to submit their work for consideration. The theme 'Within A Landscape' was chosen to inspire artists to think creatively about the natural world and their place within it. The exhibition will feature a wide range of artworks, including paintings, collages, and original prints, all of which will be available for sale.

The exhibition is being held at the Kino-Teatr in St Leonards-on-Sea, a unique venue that combines an independent cinema, arts centre, music venue, and restaurant. The Baker Mamonova Gallery, which is part of the Kino-Teatr, has a long history of exhibiting 20th-century Russian art and has hosted shows at prestigious venues such as the State Tretyakov Gallery and Pushkin House.

The Kino-Teatr Open Exhibition will run from 1 October to 1 December 2026, with a special event on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the Kino-Teatr, St Leonards-on-Sea. Tickets are with the button beside the article. The exhibition is a great opportunity to support local artists and to experience the unique atmosphere of the Kino-Teatr. With its diverse range of artworks and stunning venue, the Kino-Teatr Open Exhibition is an event not to be missed.
