The Philippines Mentioned in the Dreamwork movie, putting that aside they really on a great streak compared to Disney and Pixar ehh not much to say. It’s a fever dream of a movie but it’s quite amazing and story is well done. Not well familiarized with Filipino mythology but it sure gives a good start at researching them after seeing Forgotten Island. Voice performances are good, animations, and Nathan Matthew David score are also amazing.

Such a fun time, great humor and a plot that moves at a good pace. A little predictable but still able to be enjoyed despite that. A good movie for children and adults alike.

Maybe I am simply too old compared to the target audience, bur I found this movie to be too much and too fast. The first half especially feels like it was afraid to take a moment to breathe. The second one is much more solid but it suffer from a lack of a proper build up to it and too weak villains. That said, I don't want to give it less than 3 stars because it had a lot of good elements and the animation was stellar. Had it been better…

Forgot To Let Anything Breathe I feel bad giving Forgotten Island a 2.5. There's so much here worth recommending. It's been a long time since I watched a film so hamstrung by one creative decision. That choice is the delivery: the film never slows down. What starts as lively energy quickly became relentless and draining for me. The style is pure maximalism with rapid-fire visual gags, sudden shifts into anime-inspired sequences, painterly…

The Forgotten Island, an island that’s definitely made its way onto my never ending bucket list as wow, what a freaking awesome place man, and actually a pretty fun movie too. I probably saw the trailer to this movie a million times at this point, but the film still interested me and I mean usually animations always win anyway as you don’t usually get bad ones. I think this year overall has been pretty solid for animations in general, and this…

Piękna, kolorowa, z szaleńczym tempem opowieść o mocy przyjaźni, wzajemnym wsparciu, indywidualnym sposobie bycia, marzeniach i dążeniu do ich realizacji. Ciężkich wyborach, na których wylałam morze łez. Młodsza widownia mogła wyjść mocno przebodźcowana, a rodzice z obawą o nocne koszmary 😅.
