The city of Brighton is about to be overrun with Shaun the Sheep sculptures, thanks to a special fundraising initiative by Martlets Hospice. From Tuesday, 27 October 2026, until Thursday, 5 November 2026, the Royal Pavilion and other Brighton & Hove Museums locations will host various incarnations of Shaun, including a magnificent Regency Shaun designed by local artist Sarah Arnett.

Sarah Arnett is a acclaimed contemporary artist, illustrator, and designer who has worked with top fashion houses and created public art in Brighton. Her design for Regency Shaun is just one of the many unique sculptures on display, which also include three mini flocks decorated by primary schools from around the city. These charming sculptures will be stationed at the Brighton Museum Shop, Hove Museum of Creativity, and Booth Museum of Natural History.

The event is expected to increase foot traffic at the city sites as people participate in engaging trails and challenges to capture selfies with each of the whimsical sheep sculptures. The trail and map can be downloaded on the Shaun by the Sea webpage. After the display period ends, the sheep will be collected and later auctioned to raise money for Martlets Hospice. Tickets are with the button beside the article, so be sure to get yours for this fun event at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
