Royal Pavilion (Brighton)
The Royal Pavilion in Brighton is hosting Christmas Regency Cream Teas from Tuesday, 15 December 2026, to Tuesday, 22 December 2026. On these days, visitors can explore the enchanting winter exhibition, A Fairy Tale of Frost and Fire, and then indulge in a delicious Regency Christmas Cream Tea in the beautiful King William IV Room.
The cream tea includes freshly baked scones, served with clotted cream and a choice of jams, accompanied by tea or coffee. Staff dressed in elegant Regency attire will serve the cream teas, adding to the festive atmosphere. To enhance the experience, a short reading from one of Jane Austen's beloved novels will be performed.
The King William IV Room, a space rarely open to the public, provides a charming setting for this special event. It's worth noting that the room is accessible by stairs only. The event organisers can cater for dietary requirements, provided they are informed at least a week in advance.
