De La Warr Pavilion (Bexhill-on-Sea)

Visitors to the De La Warr Pavilion will have the chance to see two new exhibitions, Prem Sahib's Chamber and Gordon Matta-Clark's Discrete Violations, which explore how architecture and spaces shape our bodies, behaviours, and relationships. The exhibitions will be introduced by the Head of Visual Arts, and attendees will be able to explore the exhibitions while enjoying welcome drinks.

Prem Sahib's Chamber is a mid-career survey of the artist's work, spanning twenty years, and explores the architecture of social and intimate spaces. Sahib's practice is informed by queer culture and explores the intersection of public and private spaces. The exhibition will feature a range of works, including sculpture, installation, and sound pieces.

Gordon Matta-Clark's Discrete Violations is a focused exhibition of the artist's work, bringing together drawings, photographs, films, and archival material. The exhibition explores the artist's experiments with buildings and urban space, offering a unique perspective on the relationship between architecture and human experience. The opening party will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026, at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea. Tickets are with the button beside the article. The exhibitions will run until Sunday, 3 January 2027.
