Hastings BRILL Art Club

On Wednesday, 4 November, children aged 5-7 can start attending the BRILL Art Club at Hastings Contemporary in Hastings, which will run every Wednesday until 2 December. The club, led by local artist Sara Melin, offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where children can explore new materials and techniques.

• Weaving inspired by coastal landscapes will be one of the activities, allowing children to express their creativity and learn about different textures and patterns. • Drip drawing with watercolour and salt will be another technique explored, introducing children to the world of abstract art and the effects of different materials. • Creating plaster imprints of marine life will give children the opportunity to learn about sculpture and the natural world, while having fun making their own creations.

The BRILL Art Club is a great way for children to develop their artistic skills and confidence, with Sara Melin's extensive experience in teaching and the creative industry ensuring a supportive and inspiring environment. Tickets and details for the BRILL Art Club are available with the button beside this article, so parents can book a place for their child to enjoy this exciting and creative experience at Hastings Contemporary.
