Visitors to the Family Day at Hastings Contemporary will design and make their own block prints on fabric, create a collaborative woven artwork, and draw comic strips telling their own stories of triumph. They will also have the opportunity to collage strange beasts inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry's borders, all under the guidance of experienced artists.
Chantelle Brett, a Hastings-based illustrator, brings her vibrant and maximalist style to the event, while Claire Griffiths, an artist and facilitator with a background in Inclusive Arts Practice, ensures that creativity is accessible and enjoyable for all.
