Hastings Life Drawing Sessions
Develop your observational drawing skills in a friendly and sociable environment, with classes suitable for artists of all levels. Led by experienced artist facilitators, these sessions offer a chance to focus and create.

The Life Drawing sessions at Hastings Contemporary are led by an artist facilitator who provides tailored feedback and guidance in new creative directions. These classes are a chance to develop your observational drawing skills and enjoy the sense of focus and calmness that it brings. Basic materials are provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own.
The sessions, which run from Saturday, 7 November 2026 to Saturday, 19 December 2026, are strictly for over 18s and take place at the Hastings Contemporary gallery on Rock-a-Nore Road, Hastings. Tickets are with the button beside the article, and include entry to all the gallery's exhibitions.
Experienced artist facilitators, such as Lance Richardson and Lucy Evetts, lead the sessions, which generally take place on Saturday mornings. The gallery's Life Drawing classes have been running throughout the year, with a few set exercises and inspiration to get participants started. With a focus on creativity and self-expression, these sessions are an ideal way to spend a Saturday morning, developing your skills and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the gallery.
