School Exhibition Visits and Activities
3 Nov 2026 – 15 Dec 2026
De La Warr Pavilion (Bexhill-on-Sea)
Primary and secondary school groups will have the opportunity to engage with the De La Warr Pavilion's exhibitions through a range of activities, including gallery visits, creative careers workshops, and hands-on art activities. These sessions are designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and new ways of thinking, and can be tailored to suit the specific needs of each group. The programme is free and runs from Tuesday, 3 November 2026 to Tuesday, 15 December 2026, at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea.
The activities on offer are led by local artists and are designed in response to the Pavilion's current exhibitions. The programme also includes a SEND offer, which includes a gallery visit and tailored resources, as well as co-planning with the teacher by phone. The Pavilion's learning team will contact each group after booking to learn more about their needs and tailor the visit accordingly.
The De La Warr Pavilion is a partner in The Great British School Trip, sponsored by Hyundai, which means that schools can apply for funding towards transport and workshop costs. Additionally, schools with 30% or more of pupils eligible for free school meals can have a free workshop, whether or not they receive the funding. Tickets are on sale, with the button beside the article.
