Bexhill-on-Sea: Prem Sahib Exhibition

Prem Sahib's sculptures, installations, paintings, and sound works often start with everyday objects like doors, clothing, and heaters, but are then removed from their usual settings to take on different meanings.

What will I see at the exhibition? The exhibition, Chamber, will bring together over twenty years of Prem Sahib's work, featuring altered, displaced, or unexpected uses of familiar materials and objects, where surfaces reflect, conceal, and reveal, and objects direct our movement and attention.

Who is behind the exhibition? The exhibition is the work of Prem Sahib, an artist interested in how architecture can organise behaviour, but also in how spaces are transformed by the people who occupy them, and how our bodies relate to the spaces around us.

When and where can I experience it? The exhibition will take place at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea, starting on Thursday, 29 October 2026, and running until Sunday, 3 January 2027, with tickets and details available with the button beside this article.
