Wriggle Room Free Sessions

The concept of Wriggle Room originated from Towner's early years programme, which relaunched in Spring 2022, and has been ongoing since then, with sessions taking place during term time.

What kind of activities can participants expect to see or do? Wriggle Room encourages child-caregiver collaboration through crafting activities, story-time, and sensory play, creating an informal space for open-ended individual and collective making and play.

Who is behind this programme? The current Lead Artist is Tanvi Kant, an interdisciplinary artist based in Hastings, who repurposes reclaimed textiles and has over 15 years of experience running workshops in various settings, including galleries and museums.

Why is it worth attending? Wriggle Room is a free programme that provides a social space for caregivers to meet and chat, and for under-5s to develop social skills, with sessions taking place at Willingdon Trees Community Centre and Towner, on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, at Towner, Eastbourne, tickets are with the button beside the article.
