Free Art Sessions For Under-5s
Towner's Wriggle Room programme offers a creative space for young children and their caregivers to play and learn together. The sessions are free and take place on selected Tuesdays during term time.
The Wriggle Room programme originated from a three-year early years' partnership between Towner and Willingdon Trees Community Centre, with the goal of providing a fun and creative space for under-5s and their caregivers.
• The sessions include crafting activities, story-time, and sensory play, allowing children to express their creativity and develop their social skills. • Caregivers are also encouraged to meet and chat with each other, creating a social space for adults to connect while their children play. • The programme takes place at both Willingdon Trees Community Centre and Towner, with the next sessions starting on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, and running until Tuesday, 8 December 2026, at Towner in Eastbourne.
The Wriggle Room programme is a great opportunity for young children to develop their creativity and social skills, while also providing a space for caregivers to connect with others. Tickets or details for the Wriggle Room programme can be found with the button beside this article, and with free parking and step-free access available, it's an accessible and enjoyable experience for all.
