Yoga in Towner's Gallery Space

Alli Stevenson's path to becoming a registered senior yoga teacher has been shaped by her passion for sharing the benefits of yoga with others, and her experience of running classes in various locations on the South Downs has given her a unique understanding of how to adapt her teaching to different environments. With a background in leading yoga classes and mini retreats, Stevenson is well-equipped to guide participants through a 60-minute flow session that aims to calm, inspire, and uplift.

The Yoga in the Gallery sessions, which will take place from Thursday, 29 October 2026, until Sunday, 29 November 2026, offer a unique opportunity for participants to improve their practice in a tranquil and culturally rich setting. The sessions will be held in the exhibition spaces at Towner, Eastbourne, with the location changing every few months to keep the practice fresh. From November, the sessions will take place in The Ravilious Collection on the first floor, providing a new and inspiring backdrop for the yoga practice.

Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the Yoga in the Gallery sessions, which are designed to be inclusive and accessible. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, participants are asked to arrive 10 minutes before the class starts and to bring their own yoga mat and a blanket for Savasana. This thoughtful approach to teaching yoga reflects Stevenson's commitment to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for her students.

The Yoga in the Gallery sessions are a chance to experience the exhibitions at Towner in a new light, and to find calm and inspiration in a unique and beautiful setting. With Stevenson's expert guidance, participants can expect to feel uplifted and inspired by the combination of yoga and art.
