The Social Reckoning has an alarming and important story to tell, yet there's little power in its delivery. Jeremy Strong is great as Zuckerberg and the film moves at a decent pace, but Aaron Sorkin was just the wrong writer/director for the project. The message needed to punch you rather than merely wave. I did enjoy it, but there was so much unrealized potential.

The poster would make you think this is a sequel to the Social Network and that Mark Zuckerberg is the main character here. No. This is a story about investigative journalism with the journalist and his source as the main characters. And honestly, I loved that. Feels a lot like All the President's Men and it is a crucially important story for anybody who spends a lot of time on the internet. Algorithms aren't there to show you what most people…

Obviously inferior to the amazing The Social Network, the Social Reckoning is just a let down. Although I will say that some of acting is still nice especially Mikey Madison but still just doesn’t feel same that Aaron Sorkin directing this without David Fincher compare to The Social Network where despite some of dialogue, both still make a good team.

I liked it—it makes you angry to see that the bosses put business before people's well-being; even the storming of the Capitol didn't make them react.

The Social Reckoning completely changes the way you'll view casually scrolling online. It tears the cover off the evil power of cyber communication and the obsessed business leaders that birthed it, forefronting the harsh effects it can cause. It sheds light on the rapid speed in which lies thrive when unrestrained and amplified by a corrupt algorithm. All very important topics. However, the film is dragged down by its monotonous middle hour and…

Aaron Sorkin is one of the few screenwriters with a very distinctive style that’s easy to recognize. Above all, his characters are usually neurotic and engage in very unnatural, drawn-out monologues - which are, at the same time, clever and funny. And generally speaking, I’m a fan of his screenplays. When it comes to directing, however, I definitely prefer it when someone else polishes Sorkin’s words a bit during the adaptation. That’s why "The…
