Wriggle Room is Towner's free programme for under-5s and their caregivers on selected Tuesdays during termtime. Our fun and creative sessions are developed by artists with Towner’s Learning team, building on a four-year early years’ partnership with Willingdon Trees Community Centre.
Wriggle Room encourages child-caregiver collaboration through crafting activities, story-time and sensory play. We create informal spaces for open-ended individual and collective making, play and story-time.
Wriggle Room is a social space where we encourage caregivers to meet and chat and under-5s to develop social skills.
Caregivers are required to stay with their dependents for the duration of the session. We have a sensory space designed for younger babies and crawlers. Even if your little one's asleep we encourage you to pop in and say hello.
This session takes place on site, on Towner's ground floor (Studio 1). Offsite sessions will be listed as such on our For Families page. Towner has step-free access, spaces available for buggies, a baby-change and cafe on the ground floor.
Sessions are free. For any enquiries or access requirements, please contact mollie.howells@townereastbourne.org.uk
