Work In Progress

As Helm Gallery celebrates its 1st anniversary, it announces the upcoming exhibition Work In Progress. This exhibition will honour the artists whose creativity adorns the gallery's walls and makes Helm a vibrant, contemporary space. Between 6th-8th September, Helm will be transformed into a blank canvas as artists create brand-new works of art live, whilst open to the public. The exhibition will engage visitors with the creative process of each artist, giving insight into their techniques, materials, and space. Nine contemporary artists from around the world will work across a variety of mediums and styles, each with their own space in the gallery. The Work In Progress opening party will take place on Friday 6th September, and the gallery will be open on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September for the public to continue watching the artworks being painted live. All artwork will remain on show at Helm until 29th September 2024, along with a collection of existing pieces from each artist.
