What is My Cinema Clinic: Menopause? Watch the film, meet the experts..

My Cinema Clinic: Menopause is an exciting new cinema brand, bringing a specially made thought-provoking documentary alongside an expert panel to a cinema location near you. Following the success of the last event, local director Isabelle Faucet has produced her second film about menopause, which will be screened in her local cinema. The film features some central figures from the menopause movement in the UK, including Kate Muir, Dr Nighat Arif, and Diane Danzebrink. Shot with stunning cinematography of nature, the film takes us through the perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause journeys of a wide spectrum of women, punctuated by medical and holistic insights. It offers potential remedies and explains why support is needed and where it is available. The event will include a 60-minute myth-busting cinematic documentary, directed by BAFTA award-winning director Lily Murray, to provide the very latest scientific and holistic viewpoints on the perimenopause and post-menopause. After the film, a panel of local menopause GP, experts, and advocates will be available to answer questions and discuss what would best support attendees in their own journeys. The panel includes Dr Renske McFarlane, Specialty Doctor in breast surgery and menopause and cancer lead, Dr Ayana Gibbs, Psychiatrist, Researcher, and Author, and Rachel Boon, Women's Health Specialist Naturopath and Herbalist.
