After moving from Detroit to New York in 1957, trombonist, Curtis Fuller, appeared as a sideman on John Coltrane’s Blue Train and cut his first three leader dates including _Volume 3_, a swinging album featuring trumpeter Art Farmer, pianist Sonny Clark, bassist George Tucker, and drummer Louis Hayes.
