Thistle is a trio composed of Cameron, Lewis, and Judwyn, whose lo-fi and introspective sound is gaining attention from BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, and Radio X. Their music combines elements of shoegaze, indie rock, and hardcore, drawing from a broad spectrum of influences. The band formed in a garage in Northampton, with Lewis and Cameron meeting in a school music room at the age of thirteen. Judwyn joined on bass in 2023, solidifying the lineup. Thistle has performed at various stages, including The Windmill and The Grace, and made their festival debut at Truck in 2024. They have gained support from UK radio personalities Dan P Carter and Steve Lamacq.
