Cast: Vincent Price, Diana Rigg, Ian Hendry

Vincent Price gives a deliciously theatrical performance in this gleefully macabre British black comedy. Price is Edward Lionheart, a Shakespearean actor spurned by London’s theatre critics, who plots an elaborate revenge, dispatching his detractors in grisly scenes inspired by the Bard’s plays. Diana Rigg stars as his devoted daughter, alongside a splendid ensemble including Ian Hendry, Arthur Lowe, Robert Morley and Coral Browne. Directed by Douglas Hickox, Theatre of Blood blends outrageous horror, wicked satire and poignancy. Brimming with disguises, dramatic flourishes and fiendishly inventive murders, it offers Price the perfect stage for a performance to bring the house down. PLUS we will be serving Vincent Price Bloody Marys - you can preorder with your ticket or buy on the night! Silver Screen Sippers will be introduced by archivist and writer Jenny Hammerton, who will share the secret cocktail recipes of the stars before the film starts! Jenny will be joined by her co-author Peter Fuller.
