When God overhears a church preacher despairing the potential loss of a youth center, he dispatches an angel to help him out. This remake of The Bishop’s Wife stars Courtney B. Vance and Whitney Houston as the titular pair, visited by a charming and handsome angel played by Denzel Washington. Wholesome, warm, with some Whitney bangers thrown in for good measure.
