Rob Curley

Rob Curley is a self-taught printmaker and artist based in Brighton, working primarily in linocut and relief printmaking. Since 2025, he has been based at his studio in Farleys Yard, where he continues to develop his practice, refining his skills and exploring new techniques. His work is inspired by his surroundings, capturing moments and scenes in time, and is also influenced by film and folklore. Alongside his own practice, Rob is restoring and installing a historic Columbian print press in his studio. Originally manufactured in 1885, the press was used to produce newspapers and large-scale posters well into the 20th century. He hopes to return it to working order for use in his own work and, eventually, to run printmaking workshops.
