Polegate Short Mat Bowls Club

Short mat bowls is a game similar to professional indoor bowls, but on a smaller scale. The game is suitable for both genders and all ages. It is played all year round, regardless of the weather. The club meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. No experience is needed to join, and equipment can be hired. A dress code is required, including the correct shoes.

The club invites new members to join them for a relaxed afternoon with a little exercise and skillful play. They also welcome visitors to their coffee morning on Saturday, 26th September 2026, from 10am to 12pm.
