Palace Theatre Tour

Opened in 1891, The Palace Theatre is one of Manchester's oldest and most beautiful theatres. Palace Theatre Manchester boasts a glorious history hosting stars of stage and screen including Gracie Fields, Charlie Chaplin, Les Dawson and Eartha Kitt to name a few. Today, the Palace delights audiences with all forms of live entertainment including world-class musicals, comedy, music and plays. Palace Tours are a great way to explore the Grade II listed theatre and hear about its amazing history. Explore the beautiful auditorium and have special access to restricted areas of the building, guided by our knowledgeable ATG INSPIRE team. Tours will last approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Meeting point for Tours is The Main Entrance. Please meet at the main entrance no later than 5 minutes before your tour start time, as late comers may not be admitted. Please note: Tours must be booked in advance as tickets are not available on the door. This is a venue tour and not a performance. Tours do not include show ticket. The theatre is a working building and therefore access to restricted areas of the building, including backstage, are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Routes may change and do, unavoidably, involve a large number of stairs. If you have access requirements including limited mobility, please do get in touch before you book via email: ManchesterINSPIRE@atgentertainment.com so we can best support you with this experience. Age guidance: No under‑3s will be permitted in the venue. Under‑16s must be seated next to an adult aged 18 or over and must be supervised at all times.
