Natural Alchemy

Natural Alchemy celebrates the work of this year’s participants on the Ditchling Natural Dye Course. Over six months, the course explores the possibilities of sustainable, plant-based colour and pattern on textiles and paper. Creating in tune with the seasons, participants work with grown, foraged and sustainably sourced natural plant materials, discovering the rich potential of plant dyes and plant-based print techniques. Led by leading practitioners in the field, all of whom trained with Jenny Dean at Ditchling Museum, the course offers an immersive exploration of natural colour to create beautiful fabrics, yarns, textiles and prints.
