Hastings Rocks International Film Festival 2026
Three days, 66 films, and a Hallowe'en horror special. Hastings' own international film festival takes over The Printworks.
HASTINGS ROCKS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
At The Printworks, Hastings
Friday 30th October – Sunday 1st November 2026
As part of the Hidden Beach Winter of Culture, The Printworks hosts the fifth Hastings Rocks International Film Festival over the Hallowe'en weekend.
Since it began in 2021, Hastings Rocks has championed bold, risk-taking cinema: horror, independent features and films that face the darker realities of the world we live in. Alongside international work, the festival gives a platform to films made in and around Hastings, with a focus on young and emerging filmmakers. Past juries have included Jo Brand and Madeline Smith.
This year's programme features 66 films, including a Hallowe'en Horror Special, fantastic features, films from Hastings, and films from Palestine, Iran and the Middle East, under the theme Imagine a Better Future Together. Special guests include David Quantick and Franny Armstrong.
