Hamish Hawk - Intriguer/Tenderness

Moving effortlessly between swaggering electronic pulses, gothic guitar, rolling drums, fractured rhythms and theatrical melodies, this Dinked alumni’s fifth album achieves the seemingly impossibly feat of being both elegant and threatening within the same song. Reminiscent of Climate of Hunter era Scott Walker, Intriguer/Tenderness is an album of dualities, contradictions and self-exploration. It finds Hawk wrapping his pleasing baritone around a dynamic and energetic strain of indie rock that rumbles, bristles, and refuses to shy away from the darker side of his psyche. And we’ve copped an exclusive 2-track bonus 7” to finish off an already mouth-watering Dinked package!
