Honoured with eight 2019 Tony Awards (including Best Musical) as well as the 2020 Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, this boundary-pushing musical weaves contemporary American folk together with vibrant New Orleans jazz. It reimagines an epic myth tracking two parallel romances: the hopeful youths Orpheus and Eurydice, alongside underworld ruler Hades and his bride Persephone.
Captured live on a London West End stage with the celebrated original Broadway cast, Hadestown takes theatregoers on an exhilarating trek down to the underworld and back again.
