Film Club: Black Beyond: Sorry To Bother You

Dir: Boots Riley
Cast: LaKeith Stanfield
1h 52m · 2026 · Cert 15
Boots Riley’s bombshell of a debut centres on a down-on-his-luck telemarketer, who quickly ascends the corporate ladder after adopting a white voice. Enlivened by eye-popping magical realism, it’s a searing technofascist critique.
Our latest Film Club season, Black Beyond, centres stories from across the diaspora that explore and embrace Black identity in all its complexity.
