Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, The Revenant) directs Tom Cruise in his most eccentric and unhinged role yet in this biting black comedy satire.

One man, an ambitious scheme, and complete collapse! Operating as the most dominant figure on Earth, petroleum magnate Digger Rockwell (Cruise) rushes headlong into a desperate quest to become mankind's ultimate rescuer before the catastrophe he triggered obliterates the globe.

Sporting heavy age-altering prosthetics, Cruise is accompanied by a remarkable ensemble—including Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, and Jesse Plemons—in Iñárritu’s highly anticipated allegory of contemporary life.
