CINEMA: Elf – Buddy’s Musical Christmas | Includes a visit From Santa!

Coming to the Cranbrook Kids Cinema this festive season: Elf – Buddy’s Musical Christmas

Elf – Buddy’s Musical Christmas combines the humour and spirit of both the beloved 2003 holiday film and the hit Broadway production. The special is an all-new retelling of Buddy’s delightfully absurd yet heartwarming story and blends the look and feel of the stop-motion animated Christmas specials of the past with the sharp sensibility of the modern-day classic holiday film and nine songs from the Broadway production.

Santa will be visiting us after the Film to hand-deliver a small gift from Buddy

If you have never been to the Christmas Kids Cinema before and don’t know what to expect, after the film has finished, the cinema screen retracts and the stage curtains open to reveal Santa on stage in a winter wonderland. Families are then invited on stage (one at a time -seating row by row) to greet Santa and receive a gift; parents can also take photos. There will be Christmas songs and the odd flurry from our snow machine to keep kids entertained while they wait.

This is our Early Years film, part of our “Christmas Double Feature”.
