Blockhead + Microbudget Feature Workshop

Join director Matt Harlock for this special microbudget filmmaking workshop, followed by a screening of his darkly comic thriller/horror _Blockhead_. Matt will take you behind the scenes of how _Blockhead_ was shot in just 14 days - from raising the money and casting, through scheduling and shooting, to festivals, distribution and all the tips, tricks and hard-earned lessons along the way. _Blockhead_ follows Will, a struggling novelist who gets an unexpected visit from his mysterious muse. As inspiration turns to obsession, chaos and murder ensue… but his new novel might just be genius. Starring Joe Sims and Danny Horn, _Blockhead_ has screened at FrightFest, Encounters, LIFF & Unrestricted View FF. The workshop will cover the making of the film, including raising money, casting, scheduling, shooting, and distribution. The screening of _Blockhead_ will be followed by a Q&A session.
