Annual Surrealist Picnic

The Annual Surrealist Picnic takes place each year in Farleys’ beautiful, spacious, sculpture garden on the Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. This unique, fun event includes live music, surreal performance and dance. Slip on your surreal costume, create your surreal picnic food and let your imagination run wild! The picnic includes live jazz bands, entertaining and often hilarious surreal performances, and showcases stunning contemporary dance from various artists. There are also scrumptious gluten-free cakes and tea and coffee available for purchase. The event is made possible with the generous support of sponsors, including Much Ado Books and Mayo Wynne Baxter. The Annual Surrealist Picnic is a celebration of Surrealism, with guests embracing the chance to express their artistic imagination through their costumes and picnic food.
