Hidden Beach Festival – Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By attending Hidden Beach Festival or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing tickets or accessing festival information.

2. Tickets & Admission

  • Tickets are valid only for the date and event specified.
  • All tickets are non-refundable except in the event of full festival cancellation.
  • Tickets remain valid if the event is postponed or rescheduled.
  • No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, late arrival, or dissatisfaction.
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Fraudulent or duplicated tickets will be void.
  • A valid ticket must be presented at all times.
  • The festival reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone without refund.
  • Re-entry is not permitted unless stated otherwise.
  • Age restrictions apply; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • ID may be required for entry.
  • Entry is subject to venue capacity and cut-off times.

3. Programme & Event Changes

  • All artists, performers, line-ups and schedules are subject to change without notice.
  • No refunds will be issued for artist cancellations, substitutions, or programme changes.
  • The festival reserves the right to amend event layout, timings, facilities, or services at any time.

4. Website Use

  • The Hidden Beach Festival website is provided for information, ticket purchases, and updates.
  • Users agree not to misuse the website, including hacking, transmitting viruses, or accessing restricted areas.
  • All information on the website is accurate at the time of publication, but the festival reserves the right to change line-ups, schedules, and services without notice.

5. Code of Conduct

Hidden Beach is a community-led cultural space. By attending, you agree to:

  • Treat all attendees, staff, volunteers, and performers with respect

  • Follow all instructions from staff and security

  • Act in a safe, responsible, and cooperative manner

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind
  • Violence, threats, or intimidation
  • Anti-social or disruptive behaviour
  • Illegal activity, including drug use or distribution

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

6. Behaviour & Site Rules

  • Responsible alcohol consumption is required at all times

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas

  • No Authorised trading, promotion, or selling is allowed on site

  • Children must be supervised at all times where applicable

7. Security & Prohibited Items

  • Bag searches may be conducted on entry.

  • Prohibited items will be confiscated.

The following items are not permitted:

  • Alcohol not purchased on site
  • Illegal drugs
  • Weapons or hazardous items
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Glass containers
  • Professional cameras or recording equipment (without accreditation)
  • Outside food or drink unless stated otherwise

8. Health & Safety

  • Hidden Beach Festival complies with all applicable health and safety laws.
  • Attendees must follow all safety signage and staff instructions at all times.
  • The event may include loud music, lighting effects, and other production elements.
  • Attendees enter and participate at their own risk.

9. Accessibility

  • Hidden Beach Festival strives to provide an inclusive and accessible environment.
  • Attendees requiring assistance should contact the festival team in advance.

10. Photography & Media

  • Photography, video, and audio recording may take place.

  • By attending, you consent to the use of your image for promotional purposes.

  • Unauthorised professional recording or broadcasting is prohibited.

11. Weather & Force Majeure

  • The festival will proceed in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe.
  • Weather conditions do not qualify for refunds.
  • The organisers are not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond their control.

12. Lost Property

  • Hidden Beach Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

  • Lost property may be collected from the festival office or designated lost & found area during and after the event.

13. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Personal data collected will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Attendees agree to receive festival-related communications unless they opt out.

14. Liability

  • Hidden Beach Festival and its partners accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by negligence.

  • Attendees assume all risks associated with attending and participating in festival activities.

15. General Conditions

  • By attending or using the website, you agree to comply with any updates.
    English law applies, and the courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction.
