Salsa Dance with Salsadelic & Live Latin Music Experience
A participatory dance and music workshop with live performance
This session brings people together to learn the basics of salsa dance in a relaxed, welcoming setting, supported by live Latin music.
The focus is on taking part, building confidence and enjoying movement with others. No previous dance experience is needed, and there is no expectation to perform.
What to expect
Guided Salsa Dance Workshop
A qualified salsa dance instructor leads the session, introducing core salsa steps, rhythm and timing in a clear, accessible way.
The workshop includes:
-
basic salsa steps
-
rhythm and timing
-
partner and non-partner movement
-
inclusive participation — no partner needed
The session is designed to feel supportive and approachable, giving people space to join in at their own pace.
Live Latin Music
Live music is provided by Salsadelic.
The musicians play throughout parts of the workshop, helping participants connect movement to rhythm and experience dancing with live music rather than recorded tracks.
Shared Social Dance
The session ends with a short live set, giving participants a chance to use what they’ve learned in a relaxed, social setting. Others are welcome to join in, making this a shared moment rather than a performance.
