An exhibition exploring the town’s musical heritage
This exhibition explores Hastings as a place where music has been created, shared and experienced across generations. Through photographs, posters, stories, audio and archival material, it highlights the artists, venues and communities that have shaped the town’s musical life.
Bringing together local memories and wider cultural moments, the exhibition reflects on how Hastings has hosted significant performers while also nurturing grassroots scenes and community music-making. Visitors are invited to spend time with the material, listen, reflect and discover how music has helped shape the town’s cultural identity.
Part of the Hidden Beach August programme.
