Course Overview

Learn how to plan, organize, and execute live events with Hidden Beach Festival’s Event Management Course. This hybrid experiential program combines online learning with hands-on festival experience, giving participants practical skills in managing real-world events.

Over 6–8 weeks, participants will explore:

• Event planning and production principles

• Scheduling, logistics, and resource management

• Vendor and volunteer coordination

• Budgeting, risk assessment, and health & safety protocols

• On-site management and problem-solving during live events

• Practical experience working directly at Hidden Beach Festival

Participants will leave the course with real-world event management experience, applicable to festivals, concerts, or any large-scale live events.

Course Format

• Hybrid Learning:

  • Online modules: theory, planning tools, case studies, and project work

  • In-person practical elements: supporting festival operations at Hidden Beach Festival

• Mentorship: Guidance from experienced festival managers

• Hands-On Tasks: volunteer coordination, schedule management, vendor liaison

• Collaborative Learning: team-based event management exercises
