Explore imagination, play with materials and enjoy hands-on making in our Creative Arts & Crafts workshops, designed especially for children and families.
Led by Arty Farty Malarky, these sessions offer a relaxed, friendly space where young people can experiment with colour, texture and simple craft techniques. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to create.
Across a series of workshops taking place at different points during August, participants will be guided through playful, accessible activities such as:
- collage and mixed-media making
- simple painting and mark-making
- recycled and found-material art
- handmade decorations and creative keepsakes
The emphasis is on process rather than perfection, encouraging confidence, imagination and enjoyment. Children are supported to explore ideas freely and take pride in creating something of their own to take home.
These workshops are ideal for:
- children aged approximately 4–12
- families looking for shared creative experiences
- young people who enjoy making, drawing and hands-on activity
Creative Arts & Crafts sessions bring a gentle, joyful energy to the Hidden Beach programme, offering calm, inclusive spaces alongside the wider festival activity.
Dates, times and booking details will be released soon.
