Agnieszka Dabrowska is a multidisciplinary visual artist and creative producer working across participatory and site-responsive practice. As Head of Art for Hidden Beach, she is responsible for the development and delivery of the visual arts programme and for ensuring that audiences have clear, accessible opportunities to engage with visual art.
As part of the Hidden Beach programme, Agnieszka will present a month-long exhibition of her work, on display in a publicly accessible space. Alongside the exhibition, she will lead two public workshops during the month, offering opportunities for audiences to engage more closely with her practice and creative process.
These workshops will take place on:
Saturday 15th August
Her role includes:
developing and presenting the visual arts exhibition
leading two facilitated public workshops during the exhibition period
commissioning and supporting additional artists where relevant
ensuring that visual arts activity is delivered in an inclusive, safe and welcoming way
Audience members can engage by:
visiting the exhibition during its open period
attending one of the two public workshops
spending time with the work and engaging with its themes and processes
The visual arts programme supports reflection, creative engagement and public access to contemporary practice, contributing to the wider Hidden Beach programme alongside music, film, food and community activity.
How to take part
The exhibition will be free to visit throughout the month. The two public workshops on Saturday 15th August will be open to the public, with booking details provided via the Hidden Beach programme.
